Well this one had me worried for a while, I downloaded it all OK and tried installing for it to tell me files where missing. I guess i must of closed one of the 2 installers used to install the game and one of them comes up with the completed click finish window, but do not do anything wait for the other installer to finish.

After that it works very well a good game with exceptional graphics for a game from 2008 on the PC. works great.

Great game, good mix of scare and action, best in the series

Dead Space was one 2008 releases for PC and consoles and later in 2011 for Android,IOS and Blackberry. This game is possibly one of the best survival horror games.

Positives: Great difficulty,increased tension,increased fear,great scenarios with nice levels designs,long campaign and great history.

Negative : Isaac( The guy you control) looks like a cyborg without any life or voice. He just kills everyone and follows orders,poor playability than Dead Space 2.

This game have dark atmosphere and enemies who take advantage of it so that makes this game sometimes a little bit scary , but it's fun too, you can stomp your enemies, hit them, and shoot them several times, but they'll continue their way until you blow up their limbs so be prepared take your plasma cutter and let's hunt them!

So far a very good game. I was unsure about it but it still holds up well despite its age. I combines both horror and shooter elements into a very enjoyable game. I have about 3 hours so far and I am still enjoying it.

This is quite a fun shooter or horror game if you prefer. I found that the horror elements in this game wear off half way through. Performance is good. The story is quite good. Overall its a pretty decent game.

EA really pulled out their asses for this one, you can get it supercheap at the sales and you might like it even if you don't like the genere itself

A horror game that makes you feel like you're watching a movie while still making you feel that same adrenaline rush when something deadly is chasing you, except, like, all the time. There is no escape from the necromorphs. YOU WILL DIE. Totally worth your money.

Movement and aiming are easy to do as well as the indicator in game to let you know which way to proceed in case you forget due to being scared.

Really this game to overcome ALL MY EXPECTATIONS really surprises cameras. character movements , realism and artificial intelligence of the enemies , and at first I started on Hard to unlock the last difficulty, and I'm still struggling in Chapter 6 , I've really taken a few good scares when the tentacle grabs my legs and try to safarme , INCREDIBLE

The game is a third person horror shooter set in the future featuring you as the silent protagonist Isaac Clarke.

Some things I like:
This game may have come out six years ago when its graphics were considered top of the line, even now they are still very good . Most important, the game still delivers on the chills, you really do feel alone and you're never sure what is behind every corner, even if you had already come that way before.

The music adds to the atmosphere and its timing helps to make the moments more intense. Lighting is great too. Hate it when the lights go out in game (you'll find out why).

You can really tell the developers put a lot of work into it.

The game also has good replay value, for example the game features a upgrade system for your weapons, tools, and suit. Not all of them can be upgraded to their full capacity in one go around so choose wisely.

Just a little note about the attention to detail in the game, I really like how your character actually feels like he has a body with a suit on it, gives more of a weight to it. Like when you smash with your boot you seem to feel like you are actually slamming something. Similar to that is when you shoot (Or delimb) something, you feel like you're hitting into a chunk of meat. The feeling is slight but nonetheless present.
Sounds graphic but this is a really gory game.

Things I don't like (not many):

Trying to download this without Steam or Origin was a nightmare. Literally took 12 hours (off and on) to get it to a point where I can install it on my computer, it was worth it, but still.
I've played this game on console before and I personally liked it better on my Xbox than PC, it just felt much smoother in my opinion.
And that's really all my dislikes, everything else I didn't like that is in game is fixed in the sequels.

Overall, The game is a horror classic in my book. And for this price it is a STEAL. Easily.

Dead space is amazing game I first seen it when I watched markiplier and I loved it then and I love it now I don't like horror games but I do like this game I don't like being scared and the nectomorphs are horrorfing play this game if you love scary crap

One of the best Space Horror games. Dead Space made me feel helpless & hopeless while moving forward through the unending tunnels, teeming of necromorphs... But the thing that makes the game most horribly is a very strong perception of being alone. I couldn't dispose of that feeling while playing it. This is the unique feeling of this franchise.

You can simply finish this game and from time to time you may want to play it again and again.

Try new ways of achievements levels, upgrading weapons and killing enemies is the central action and fun of this game.

The atmosphere is just terrorific and if played with earphones you will get very involved with! Surely it is worth it!

LOVE IT! Played it back in the PS3, i played it in the dark, alone, at night. Gave me the chills for days!
The atmosphere is beautiful, the necromorphs will always be a threat. and always shoot a necromorph that is laying on the ground.

Scary, decent graphics even to the date, awsome story, the only reason i wouldnt give it 5 stars is because the character doesnt speak at all! This game grows on you, it might take some time for you to actually enjoy

I love the Dead Space seires, and this is where it all starts. All in all Dead Space is a great science fiction games with different inspiration as alien. A super senario , sound tape involved . Regarding history, the 26th century, starting Earth lacked natural resources , several spaceships are sent on missions to deep space in order to discover . One day , an engineer receives a distress call from one of his ships . Once there , he discovers that it is infested with Necromorphs , human corpses brought back to life by an alien virus. A struggle then engages for survival. The passages of action are very impressive .
