    Mech\'s are cool but
    The game is honestly boring, maps are small and there is virtually very little tactically that you can do to complite missions. Side quest are very repetive and will get boring.

    Main quest is so difficult that you have to do the same side quests over and over and over again to get good enough gear and experienced mechwarriors to go forward in story line.

    Classic Battletech with a modern twist
    This version of Battletech takes you back in time to the beginnings of the classic battlemech era of 3025. You run a mercenary company with all it's ups and downs while trying to scrape together a more effective force.

    The story is overall good, some like it more than others. The story missions are pretty much linear though.

    The combat is quite close to the tabletop game though modernized to add variability. I like the new systems, nothing bad to say about them. Other than pilot injuries taking a lot of time to heal for even one point of damage. I mount the cockpit protection mod as soon as I find them...

    Customization of the mechs is good while somewhat realistic.

    Overall well worth your money if you like turn based tactical games or giant robots.
